America’s Voice: King says AL immigration law hasn’t gone too far
Our friend Matt Hildreth emailed us this gem:
Alabama’s immigration law, HB 56, is ripping families apart and making children afraid to go to school for fear of deportation.
Naturally, this is right up Steve King’s alley:
KEYES: Is there anything you think that could be too far, like asking people in the hospital about their immigration status?
KING: I don’t know why that would be too far.
For a guy who rails against the evils of the Soviet Union (not that we’re defending them), Congressman King has some strange ideas about the role of government in our communities:
KING: In the world I grew up in, a police officer would see somebody on the street and say, “Why are you here? What are you doing? Who are you? I don’t know who you are.”
Who knew Kiron circa 1955 was like the Kremlin?
